Krystal Guerrero
Krystal graduated from Southwestern College with a degree in Sustainable Landscape Practices and learned about landscape restoration. They worked in many gardens growing flowers, veggies, removing lawns and replacing them with native plant gardens. Krystal branched out and started working in our local canyons as a field restoration technician and later supervisor with San Diego Canyonlands.
They have always had a deep love for the outdoors and being a steward of the land is their life calling. Krystal enjoys learning and fueling their passion of bird knowledge, advocacy of community science and making nature more accessible and inclusive for their community.
Krystal is looking forward to continue taking care of these lands through their conservation work here at SDBA.
