Carlos Callado

Carlos Callado

Carlos is a San Diego local who has always had a deep love for natural spaces. He spent much of his youth outside camping, surfing, tidepooling, hiking, cycling, and doing just about anything to be outdoors. He earned his degree in Environmental Policy from UCSD. It was during undergrad that he began volunteering and interning to begin his career as a conservationist and advocate for our natural spaces. After graduating he went on to work for local NGOs where he gathered a variety of experiences ranging from being knee deep in salt marsh collecting sediment cores to speaking before legislators and everything in between. He is excited to apply his expertise to passionately advocate for our birds and coasts.
