Courtney Williams
Courtney Williams is a Naturalist Guide with San Diego Bird Alliance’s Education Program. They are a Science Writer and Outdoor Educator passionate about connecting young people to nature and fostering kinship and curiosity for all ages. When they aren’t working with our community here in San Diego, they're leading programming on ecology, ethnobotany, outdoor equity and stewardship across California and around the country as a youth backpacking guide. Courtney grew up in the North East, where they studied English and Biology, with a focus in Botany. Their deep admiration for nature extends beyond the classroom into mutual aid work, as a hiking guide for humanitarian and restoration efforts across the desert and Otay Mountain wilderness.
