Alexis Guerra Luz

Alexis is a creative marketer and self-taught graphic designer with 6+ years of experience in digital content, brand building, and advocacy. She has supported community-centered organizations throughout her career, including her work as a Marketing Coordinator for Un Mar de Colores, where she uses design and storytelling to help connect BIPOC youth to the ocean and foster spaces of belonging. In her previous role at the Regional Task Force on Homelessness, she helped recruit volunteers for the Annual Homeless Census, supported the RTFH Conference, and collaborated with service providers and advocacy groups to organize committee workgroups.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Arizona State University, Alexis blends her artistic eye with strategic communication to uplift mission-driven organizations. Rooted in her belief that power is in the community, her approach centers on amplifying the organization’s conservation work by fostering inclusive connection and stewardship through the storytelling of diverse people and wildlife.

You can catch Alexis always on the go; roller skating through San Diego with music in her ears, surfing glassy waves, or capturing life’s small moments on film.
