Hailey Matthews
Hailey graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. From 2024 to 2025, she served as a Wildfire Resiliency Fellow with the San Diego Bird Alliance, where she focused on conservation, education, and outreach efforts aimed at elevating awareness of San Diego’s native flora and fauna.
Now serving as the Education Coordinator for the San Diego Bird Alliance, Hailey is dedicated to environmental stewardship through the development and implementation of outdoor curricula that inspires others to protect both terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
Outside of work, she enjoys tide-pooling, block printing, metalworking, fiber arts, and exploring the intersection of art and science.
